HELP MESSAGE:

Well, I just got DSL for my computer and everything was running smoothely and much quicker than my old dial up. I could get logged into HL just fine. Then ,one day, I got the notorius "error socket 11004" error. I then turned FIREWALL OFF AND STILL NO WORK. I noticed slower computer performance as well. This happened after I tried to change port information on my router so I could host games on HL. However, I couldnt make any changes to my port stuff on my IP's webpage because it required an authorization password. <<<This may or may not be the cause of the problem...

>>I need serious help with this, and I'm sure many of your other fellow users need help with this as well.

If you still need more info, please send a reply asking for more info.
