Hey WW2 veterans,

People who installed Pacific Fighters over Forgotten battles+AEP should have no problem connecting to a pf-server.. so dont bother reading the rest.. Very Happy
(unless.. its a standalone-version maybe... but im not covering that subject)

However.. people that made a copy of the whole FB+AEP-map(thuss still beeing able to play FB occasionally) and patched the Pacific fighters over that copy will have a problem

I encountered a little trouble trying to get into a Pacific Fighters Server in Hyperlobby and i did a little reading in the Hyperlobbymanual itself.. i dont know if this information is gonna be sounding familiar.. so bear with me.

The game starts up and will try to connect to the server.. then it says something like.. remote user is using different version (3.0)...

OK.. here goes..

disconnect from hyperlobby ... just dont hit that connect button yet!

First.. hold down the CTRL &shift then hit the connect button...

Now a popup should be there.. in which u can set the correct path for yer fresh new game..
Set it manually.. or hit the search button and it will search yer whole HDD for the .exe file..
When you find the correct file.. select it and hit ok..

Now yer copied map with IL-2FB+AEP+PF combinationgame should work..at least.. it did for me

Just hope i brought some help to some on this subject

I have found the same solution for the moment...
But it should be more nice if we can have an entry for PF in hyperlobby.
Embarassed

HOW can I add an entry in HL ?
In the perfect world, I would like to get entries for:
FB
AEP
FB + AEP
Cool

... instead of changing each time the path to the corresponding .exe
Shocked
