Just wondering if anyone had any idea if the was another work around for the
runtime error 429 "you do not have an appropriate license to use this functionality" ...
I followed the faq fix which I believe has a typo
Browse Hyperlobby Instalation folder and rerun aping.exe and dpexec.exe applications. dpexec.exec should be dexec.exe i hope.
However even after I run these programs I get the error.
thanks for your time. |

Ok its done for me
First problem that anyone posted was during HL instalation. It popup error message that msvbvm50.dll does not exist. So windows 2003 does not have includet visual basic 5 runtime . Then i installed Visual basic 5.0 runtime (from download section) and hl run without any problems

JIRI by default Runtime is installed somewhere in documents and setting folder.
But when i copy msvbvm50.dll to lobby client folder, then it is working fine !!!
GRAT NEWS FOR ALL W2003 SERVER USERS !!!
