connect to HL,

click Player Lists

-> Connect/Select Game

press disconnect, change your name and press connect

Thanks for reply, still no cigar.

Asks am i sure i want to disconnect, i say yes and then change my username
still get *Wrong username or password message.

That name is already reserved then.
