Just downloaded latest version.
Install went fine.
First time run FAILED after license agreement page.
ERROR
Run-time error '50003' unexpected error
My system
Windows 98SE
AMD Athlon 1.47Ghz
256 Mb PC133 memory
GeForce4 Ti 4200 Graphics card.
SB Live Sound Card.
Any idea's?

1. try reinstall HL
2. reinstall VB5 runtime
3. try http://hyperfighter.jinak.cz/downloads/vb5cli.zip |

I have downloaded vbcli.zip.
Could you please tell me where to put the files?
Do they go into the same folder as Hyperlobby or in the WINDOWS\SYSTEM folder.
Also I forgot to tell you (SORRY) about another message I received during installation -
QUOTE -
The file C:\Windows\system\mswinsck.ocx is installed in a different
language version
Do you want to overwrite it?
UNQUOTE
There were THREE possible options
ALL? YES? NO?
Since it is a Windows\system file I chose NO
Could you advise please about the correct choice?

Hi
mswinsck.ocx is TCP/IP activex layer. HL can work only with latest version from Microsoft, and its part of the HL.
When you not trust it, download and install it from Microsoft website (its part of Visual Studio 6.0 service pack 5)

I am getting mighty confused!!
I know nothing about Visual Basic.
Could you tell me what files I need ,OTHER THAN,those in HL
which I have to get from Microsoft.
At the moment I am running the RETAIL version of WINDOWS98SE.
I am guessing that this does NOT contain any version of VISUAL BASIC so therefore,at present,I have no chance of running HL.
Am I correct in this assumption?

I said that HL cant work with your old OCX  . You must press YES in the dialog ,,, |
