I have to admit that I love HL but this new design is very inefficient. If there was a way to keep the player LIST static as was in the 2.x design and such and clean up a little it could be so much better.
Keep up the good work.

I'm thinking of a front-end (user interface) that is skinable and configurable like Winamp3. Allow the skin creator to rearrange, customize, or even omit data fields.
Maybe even a skinning program with color picker and textures?
Is any of this possible? I have zero programming skills, but a friend sent me a copy of VB6 and a couple of tutorials -- maybe someday I'll learn, then try something along those lines.

3.x design is one from the best and effective. It uses allot of keyboard shortcuts whish can be used for handling user interface. Use the /h command to show it (already in the manual). Regarding skinning interface it get improved for next version and when i got free time ill make soon a guide how to change parts of hl interface ...

Oh I do like the shortcuts and what not its just the layout. Esp going from pager to player list and game choice, etc. If pager menu could be in a sep. area like it was in the 2.x design the layout with be much improved.
