when ever i boot up my pc a setup window shows up for setup wiz to install2.3.80 this happens even with 2x or 3x installed tride to delete hl files then window for missing short cut opens thenext time i boot up the pc then my wife yells at me about messing up the pc with games how do i make this prob go away (short of the big "D")

LOL what is install2.3.80 ? If its HL , this version is not distributed about two years ... run msconfig.exe and simply remove something from your startup, good is also use an antivirus to check your system ...

and yes it was an old program havent had much time to fly
(fa18) duto i am redoing an old house (bilt in1876)
