Thx for all the replies. I have tried evrything I know as far as complete uninstalls etc. What I get when signing into HL is everyone in Players list gets a little popup window. It says ...

Hi All,

I haven't been able to use HL in 6 months. I get tiles of names in the lobby then a "runtime error 5". I never had troubles before. I use Win2000Pro.
