My HL is not working properly while changing my game version. I click on select games, than disconnect, than right click mouse and let him searching for versions on HD. When i click on certain game version there is no save appearing and my screen freeses.
If i have do to an uninstall, it doesnt work well. After new install the old setting apperas again.
So, how to do a clean and totally uninstall? Or is there a way to fix the problem here above?

Run HL, type /e in to the chat and hit enter, it will open notepad with hl configuration file, search for section [IL-2 Sturmovik 1946], the loook at line gamepath=something, change something to your correct path, press CTRL+S, exit notepad and restart hl with new game path ...
