I have a linksys router, two Alienware computers, and Road Runner cable modem. I can host a game if one computer is directly connected to the cable modem. But I can't when I am using the linksys router. When I try to host a game while using the linksys router, other players tell me that my ping says "timeout" What must I do to configure the router so that I may host a game?
Also what are yout ports for the web, SSL Encryption, Chating, and gaming port. Thankyou! for you time in helping me to resolve this issue.

Fine thanks.
Not a linksys router user here but the ports needed are, HL TCP 1698 and IL2 is UDP 21000.
You should be able to foward those ports.
Some info can be found also in your hlpro.ini found in your C:\Program Files\HyperLobbyPro3\ folder. Look for the Forgotten Battles section.

Also you can only host from one machine behind a router because you can only forward a port to one machine at a time. You can join someone elses game from both machines but only host from one.
