Ok I saw this post and it answered some questions but not all, So I understand that I need to create a new account and the name of this account will be the name of Dedicated server which shows up in hyperlobby.

So the problem is when I install hyperlobby and log on it asks me to direct it to the exe. Well I can try putting the right link to the exe we use or letting it search for it but it nevers finds it and thus we dont have a server showing up as far as I know. Were using the dedicated Il2 merged program and hyperlobby is intended for the clientside version. Is there anyway around this or to get it working.

EDIT: cant rename the exe to Il2fb.exe right now its il2server.exe
we use a programed called FireDaemon (different from FBdaemon) so that the programs keep running when we log off and it wont take the Il2fb.exe for some reason. Is this the problem

yes that is the problem the il2server.exe needs to be renamed to il2fb.exe inorder for HL to find it so it can be launched as long as you use that other program then you will have this problem

also i hope you are not running the dedicated server on the same PC that you plan to use to fly because you can only do 1 or the other fly or run a dedicated server

no there different, one is in Canada and the other in texas. Also is there a way to setup hyperlobby so that it logs you in on startup. So I dont have to click the connect button

Another question, I run the server on the 67.19.84.124 ip and I want to get it to show up in firedaemon so I changed the exe and it works but when I start HP lobby with the name we want our server to show up as and add myself (on another comp) to the friends list. I send the servers HP ip to me and I get 67.19.84.116. Should the server and HP be running under the same ip? We get 10 ip withour box.

Also I opened the 1698 under the 67.19.84.116 ip (different from server Ip) using tcp and ucp
