Please anyone help me on this - I'm almost quitting...
I got a IL-2/FB dedicated server setup on a home LAN (1 server + 1 client), which is runing ok, the LAN client can join via direct IP or via HL, and it's working just fine, except, in both cases after 2 or 3 minutes flying the client gets a "Connection lost with server. Reason: Timeout".
Does anyone knows out to sort this out? I just don't know what else to try...
Thanks in advance.

When you getting problems after few minutes, the problem should be your network infrastructure, network drivers, etc

Thanks for your answer.
To try to sort this out, I setup the server machine directly connected to the cable modem I'm using - no LAN this time.
I hooked it to HL and asked someone to join in and test it.
Than again after 2 or 3 minutes flying the client got kicked out with a timeout mesage.
It still can be a network problem as I used the Ethernet modem connection option.
Should I try the available USB alternative? I don't know what else to do.

Still no joy, on this timeout kick issue.
I tried a LAN-only connection without AV/Firewall running, in fact I cannot think of anything else I didn't tried - lan, cable modem, broad band mobile telemodem, whatever...
I also tried a net monitor program to check all network connections, but still I wasn´t able to trace any event which might be causing the timeout kick.
I must say it doesn't happen only if I connect as a dedicated server; if I connect as client, and try to host a mission I timeout kick players all the same.
Now one thing that is really strange, is that the client who joins my server, has a very low ping value, like 10 or so, and the connection indicator stays down at second green bar, but keeps peeking the yellows once in a while, then after 1 or 2 minutes gets kicked by timeout.
