Runtime Error 481 "Picture not found"???

Hello All:

I have installed HL for the first time in these 2 years. I installed the latest stable version.

At the first lounch, I got an error message:

"Runtime error: "481" Picture not found."

The program then suddenly got shut down.

Does anyone know what the cause would be?

same problem either runtime error 481 or error 0

cpu: amd athlon 64 x2 4400
ram: crosair 2x 1gig 3200 ddr
harddrive western digital 120 gig
gfx card: 7800gtx
sound card SB x-fi
windows xp sp2
firewall is off , dont have a router either
Il2+aep+pf 404.m

installed v runtime programm downloaded from this site but no go still
