Runtime error 52

when i try go hyberlobby forgotten battles channel then comes runtime error 52 and suht down reinstall won't help. Sad

This is what has worked for people in the past.
52 bad file name:
Try pasting in pathway again . Before you connect to the Hyperlobby. Hold down the ctrl and shift keys then left click the connect button to bring up the game search dialog. When it is found after search, double click on the version you want to play and this will send it to the "Selected game text box" at the top of the panel. You can also manually type in the pathway or paste it in from explorer but make sure the game executable is included and don't forget to press the "save". Also make sure the game is installed in the same partition and is fat32 not windows fat and partition nfts (It don't like mixed file formats on different drives. Eg: Hyperlobby on C fat32 drive and game on E nfts.

I cant get to the game search dialog screen. The error message appears after I open the program overlying the initial HL screen. With or without holding down the control-shift keys.
