Hello Gamers > And all gamers

We all remember the days when we played maps where there were battles between ships and we simply tried to attack them and the lag just got so far out of control we crashed! not even by anti-aircraft but the lag from the explosions.

Well those days are over.

For the past few days i have tested a new way of controlling ship formations. It works. Not a single person who joined had any lag. ANY LAG WHAT SO EVER AND THERE WERE OVER 40 SHIPS IN AN AREA OF 2 KM. This is also due to new techniques in editing the conf.ini files. I am now broadcasting this information on the net as its a revolutionary new way of controlling lag. Unfortunately i am not going to give away my only little secrets but this is what u need to make a lag free server to start with:

1. Take any reasonably sized map and place your objects how you want.

2. Split up the area of which land vehicles (if there are any) are so that there is area for the aircraft passing by to even out any lag over an area.

3. If you use ships then set the 'ROF' (Rate of Fire) to around 10 - 20. Make sure every ship has a slightly different rate of fire ( 13.1, 14.3 etc). If there are lots of ships (10 +) then make the ROF even higher so that the guns fire even less often so you can reduce the excessive anti aircraft fire.

4. Edit your conf.ini file in IL2 1946/ PF+FB+AEP or whatever and also your confi.ini file in hyperlobby by doing this:

Find both conf.ini files for hyperlobby (HLPro3) & IL2 (IL2 Forgotten Battles or IL2 1946 under Ubisoft) in C Drive/Program Files/. Once you find these files...

My configuration file is changed to these values for hosting only...

[Forgotten Battles]

joinDelay=5

clientRate=10000

For regular online play, I have it set up as follows…

[Forgotten Battles]

joinDelay=5

clientRate=5000

change the net speed of hyperlobby in teh same way by changing teh net speed and join time to teh same as u changed on FB.


THATS ALL BUT JOIN MY SERVER '4.08 HENDY' AND I WILL SHOW U IT WORKS.
