ERROR : Invalid Nickname

I'm trying to get my name to look like this AG26~Lt~MyName this is how
my other squad mates have there callsign names. The problem seems to be the ~ . i can not create a new account with that in my name i get
ERROR : Invalid Nickname

When changing my call sign on the log in of HL i get this

Please wait, connecting HyperLobby server
HyperLobby server connected succesfully
* Wrong username or password ...
Connection to HyperLobby server was closed

ive re installed HL after uninstalling and deleting the folder for HL out of Program Files but did not remove anything from the regstery
deleted my account in HL chat box
Nothing i try will let me use the ~

any ideas ??

You are typing the incorrect password.

Remember, passwords are case sensative.

If you forgot your password, your screwed.
You can try that name after the password protection expires in 6 months.

I wish it where that simple, i only use 3 passwords for this type of thing
and if i change the ~ to a _ / - = or <> then i can create an
account and call sign.

Only ASCII code is allowed in the lobby or in a user name.
It would appear that the ~ is not allowed Sad

The ~ is allowed i can use it in an other callsign and the rest of my squad mates have it in there's as well as i stated in my first post.

I think i may have to wait the 9 months for the name AG26~Lt~Wingnut
to expire its password protection

Is there a Hyperlobby version where you could have more characters in your username, because kinda like your problem i have a squadron it required a tagged to represent me on the squadron and not enought room to fit All of my name, and i must have all of my name visiable, so does anyone know.
