I wish to log in with "=CH=Hrdhrd" but I'm being told the name is invalid - does that mean taken or can I not use the '=' sign?
Thanks.

Okay so nobody willing to help me?
Obviously I was wrong about the '=' sign - it IS allowed.
Have they got rules only one accound per IP address?
I have tried different email accounts and that did not work.
I also tried 10 different (jibberish) nicknames and says they are not acceptable?
Appreciate any help - PLEASE!

Not 100% sure, but lets start with a bit of understanding about code.
If you use non ASCII characters you will get rejected.
That's because some of them made up C code strings and commands.
So Jiri limited the names ant messages to ASCII characters only.
I am not sure about HL, but in some programs, including Windows, you are not allowed to use characters that create
potential commands or equasions.
