Hi all, just started playing on line great stuff, been on twice now and the last time i got a message warning of high ping, please could some one tell what my ping is and is it possible to lower it, i got a warning saying 1 of 4 reached. Thanks Wot4

Ping is simply the time it takes for a signal/packet sent to return.
The result is often referred to as "latency"
It is a good indicator for the quality of your connection.
Ping has nothing to do with speed.
You can have good speed and a poor ping.
If you are using a sattelite or 56K connection you will have trouble
with ping and packet loss.
When IL-2/FB says cheating has been detected, that's about short term disconnects.
Some simps use it as a cheat. When in trouble a short disconnect makes the
cheaters plane warp away.
Most warping is not cheating!
But to catch the morons who do it intentionally the cheat detector
goes off on and interruption of connection.
