Everytime i try , i get this. "* HyperLobby cannot find your game instalation folder. Reconnect and search the location of your game" ...can anybody help me?. I use windows xp home edition. |

I have the same problem I've tried everything and nothing is working. Even the manual doesnt help. What can I do?

Windows XP
None of the versions work (on hyperLobby) except for Forgotten Battles, which says my password is incorrect. My IL2 EXE is il2fb.exe... but then why does it say this:
Please wait, connecting HyperLobby server
HyperLobby server connected succesfully
* Wrong username or password ...
Connection to HyperLobby server was closed
Are there any other programmes which enable me to log into IL2 online servers?

HELP!!!........I'm having the exact same problem. Nothing works per the instructions given. The auto-search yields nothing.
When I right click and paste the game paths I get the following;
"C:\Program Files\Ubi Soft\IL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles\il2fb.exe"
"C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\il2fb.exe"
When I press save, the message response comes back "Bad file name or number". When I installed Hyperlobby before, I had no problem at all, nor did I have a problem with the installation my other PC??? Both run XP.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

Remove the quotes.
"C:\Program Files\Ubi Soft\IL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles\il2fb.exe"
should be....
C:\Program Files\Ubi Soft\IL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles\il2fb.exe
Also is you are getting a bad password alarm, try a new name and password.
If that works you have made an error in your password.
It's a common problem, people forget their passwords
or that they used upper or lower case letters.

Thanks for your support, but I dont think it's that easy.
My password works for all the other games (including Pacific Fighters), just not for the Forgotten Battles Server
I know where my il2fb.exe is, I have copied the file location alone, and added the il2fb.exe to it... nothing works. It cant detect it. I am using an original copy of the game...
I'll try reinstalling HyperLobby, but it's probably a lost cause. Are there any other programmes I can use to play IL2 online?

Hello Gents,
Don't ask me how or why, but I arrived in China on a business trip last night and for whatever reason, the site now workls fine as usual without any of the IL2 paths being manually typed in or automatically searched for per the Hyperlobby program???
Strange?......but so long as I can sign in and play, who cares!
