I am trying to set up a dedicated server that is on a remote server box.
I can join the server by I.P. but not through Hyperlobby.
I set up the server on Hyperlobby as per the instructions and all seems fine.
You can see the server in Hyperlobby but when you try to join you get a connection timeout.
It looks like Hyperlobby is trying to use another I.P. that is available on the server box and not the one that the IL2 server is actually using.
I have tried changing the settings in the hlpro.ini file but nothing seems to make a difference.
Any suggestions?

Hyp erlobby will always use the base IP of the server box. You may get the FB Ded Server to run on another IP , but Hyperlobby will never run on anything but the base IP , you'll have to use that one .
Only cure is to create a virtual server within your server , install apache, mysql etc on it. But it makes more sense to use the base IP of the server box instead and use other ports that arent being used.

Wow, a first for "Eries".

All his other posts are attacking me.

100% of them full of lies and insult.

Thanks for the quick response.
I ended up using the base I.P. for the box and all is well.

It's to bad you cannot specify the I.P. for hyperlobby to use like you can for the IL2 server.
