sup guys...new to this HL thing....everytime i try to join someone's game i get a TIMEOUT ERROR...im not using a router..wXP..cable motem..i can even create a game..but no one can join it..has no pw's either..HELP..im bald now! Even disabled my firewalls!

some players don't use the same version of the game (4.08 or 4.09) in IL-2/FB-1946 case
also, before disabling the firewall, you should open the ports 21000 (in XP, even disabled, the firewall sometimes keeps blocking some traffic)

how do u upgrad to 4.08 or4.09?

4.08 is teh official patch, so you can have it from developers site. 4.09 is non official, I don't have a link for it
If you can't join even a game with somebody having the same game version, activate your firewall, and authorize all traffic on port 21000 (it's the port used by IL-2)
