Salute,
Of my knowlege the acount as nothing to do with it, by what i've read of you post i advise you to check XP firewall settings plus the conection options, and check your connection speed. there is a website were you can do that go to google and search for "checking conection speed" and that website will apear.
It can also be any software youre using that is using your conection speed, check if youre using Emule, Kazza, etc.
A good help would be if you post your computer components, it would help to try to figure out a solution. |

i think you are right about account i tried playing fb at two other lobbys with same crap results ie.massive ping so that eliminates that.clutching at straws really.
my specs are;
cpu; amd athlon xp2200+1.79ghz
onboard cache 256kb
m/b; ecs k7s5a
ram; 512mb ddr-sdram[crucial]
video; nvidia geforce fx5200[ledtech]
hd; st340810a 40gb
os; windows xp pro
asdl ext modem; origo asu8000
network provider; dcomms
only software running is avg anti virus,i have tried running without it and with firewall removed but no difference |

Make sure also you have the correct drivers for you modem as I once had A 56k which speed was halved untill the correct ones were installed.
If thats not it you might try ringing your ISP and asking them why your latency is so high compared to dialup. They might have an awnser. |
