As you may know the newly released so called "Dedicated" Server 1.11 only works with ubi.com. It is NOT a real independent dedicated server, instead it is dedicated to ubi.com. It cannot be used with other games services like Hyperlobby. In addition you can't run the "dedicated Server in a LAN.
This is more than stupid, especially since the ubi.com service is known to have lots of problems with online gaming, e.g. since August 4th hosting from behind a router (or with ICS or with more than 1 network card installed) is no longer possible at ubi.com. So for many people the Dedicated Server becomes just useless.
As the Dedicated Server promisses to be a major improvement for IL-2 FB if it would be a
REAL INDEPENDENT DEDICATED SERVER
so everybody in HL, please support the Dedicated Server Petition initiated by EJGr.Ost_Anonym recently in Ubi forum:
