Connection speed?? Does it help to lower your speed??

I've been told that it will improve any lag if you set your initial connection speed to 28k. Is this true? I have a wireless broadband connection of 256k. If this is true, how do you change the setting? Thank you.

Can't remember for sure but didn't you have to select your connection setting up HL...56K, 28k, DSL, LAN, and such?? I thought you did. Anyway, while entering a game, the Host told everyone to change their connection to 28k to eliminate lag... I couldn't find anywhere to do this!?

You not must bother with this. Speed limiting is supported only by IL2 and FB. Its feature of the game and HL only manage it. Its doing fully automatic, so as i said you not must bother with it. For more informations search this messageboard ( on UBI and SIMHQ is this HL feature discused too, and in my knowledge the mudmovers cover it too )
