Problem: I'am getting this message:

Try install vb5 runtime ... Also the program sfc.exe should help you. For more informations try search this forum and the FAQ .

I downloaded the VB5 runtime and installed it .... I have removed and re-installed both HL and VB5 runtime several times but always I get the "Page fault Error" when I try to start the program.....I am
out of options here.... Sad

Just asking here... Have you re downloaded the HL client again and made sure that all other applications including anti virus software are shut down before install?
Reboot after install to just to be sure aswell.

Yes...

Machine in its "naked" state....still no luck....so I don't have a phat clue!!
