Hi
I'm getting this problem with getting into the lobby once I log in.
I would successfully connect and then the program would crash saying "Hyperlobby has encountered a problem and needs to close..." (image attached).
There is also a popup that comes up before that message comes up. It says " Run-time Error 6 Overflow" but I can't get a screenshot of it because it comes up too fast, about a second before that message. I can only catch a quick glimpse of it. I had to run the same process a million times to finally make out what the pop-up says.
I've searched the forum posts but it seems like no one is having the same problem as me. I also searched up Runtime Error 6 on google and found a website that suggested it was a problem in the registry, so I downloaded a Registry Scanner/Fixer and the problem still persists.

I've tried re-installing IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 (patched to 4.09) and also the HyperLobby client but still nothing. I even tried deleting all the registry keys to both before the re-installs. Firewall is not the issue because I have tried to run the program with it off and it is also in the exceptions.

System Specs:
Microsoft Windows XP
Professional
Version 2002
Service Pack 3

AMB Athon(tm) 64 X2 Dual
Core Processor 5200+
2.70 GHz, 3.25 GB of RAM

If there is any other specs you need to know about, just let me know how to find it and I'll tell you. (sorry not too good with computers)

Thanks,
Justin

My regional settings are
English (united states)

*UPDATE* It was the regional settings, my language for non-unicode programs setting was set on chinese.

**UPDATE** I can successfully log-in and stay in the lobby now but whenever I try to join a server, I get an error report about IL-2FB.exe getting an error with "jvm.dll". I tried updating my java but it doesnt help.

Justin

HL do not support east asian language settings. I was unable to reproduce that problem on my working computer so this long standing bug. But with informatuins you provided me i will propably abble to reproduce it Smile

regarding jvm.dll, installing sun java will not help you. IL2 using its own java version 1.3.1. Posting details about this error maybe will helpfull and is high posiblity than the solution should be Googled Smile
