Need help setting a dediserver behind a linksys router.
Router model : BEFSR41
OS in server : WIN XP
Conection Type : CABLE
I can host, people can join.
This problem is related for port 21000 open to server ip and for the DMZ option in the router.
Problem:
Server shows timeout for players in HL.
But if they join no problems at all.
Seems that HL need a port open to receive ping and calculate latency, this would make sense in port fowarding but not in DMZ mode.
The problem is not service provider related because if i use a switch and the server machine as gateway HL pings fine.
Help with this would be apreciated.
