looks like we have some new cheat-probs. Looks like someone managed to hack the online game ... no print-screen but hard-core-hack!!!
The story:
Flew todays morning on ubi platform on a host called "veni, vid, vici". Host master was some "Jokezu2" host was limited to 4 gamers. This "Jokezu2" said he is from Finland and does not speak English.
Settings were: no external view, but cockpit-off. unlimited fuel/ammo, no blackies.
1. The guy "Jokezu2" let me explode from a distance of about 4 K!
2. He bailed ... - message was shown that he bailed ! - ... but actually he stayed in his plane and shoot me easily !!! Cheat-message came up same time.
3. The guy could get behind me very fast. Faster than turning can be done with 100%- elevator settings even when black-outs are off.
My conncetion to that "vvv-host" was very good, ping of 70 (Finland?? me Hamburg GER)
There were temporally short disconnections during the session which I don´ t understand...no lag but short disconncetions.
While "regular weapons" were turned "on" as well as "no easy successes", it looked as if "Jokezu2" could kill very, very easy as if these settings were turned "off".
This is what I can report.
I konw many stories about cheating, for I fly nearly 3 years online now. Normaly I don´ t care much about these stories ´cause it is often lag from net. But this seems to be a complete new quality ... looks like a deeply hacked thing.
Looks like this hack works only for/with the host.
If u come to ubi one day fly this "veni, vidi, vici" to findout yourself. Interesting expirience ahead ...or stay cool with HL

Hi, ich kann diesen Servernamen bestättigen! Veni,vid,vici im (heute)ubi.com Raum. obwohl ich erst seit zwei tagen online spielen kann, tritt zumindestens ein paarmal in einem spiel ein cheatwarnung auf. doch so hab ich es auch noch nicht sehen, was ich gesehen habe.

Yope, cheatwarnungen sind ganz normal. Meist ist es lag.
Bzgl. des in Rede stehenden hosts habe ich inzwischen erfahren, daß dort eine Art Speed-hack gefahren wird. Der Typ ist wohl ein profilneurotischer Spinner, der ibs. gerne Newbies killt.
Einfach nicht dort fliegen.
Wie blöd und schlecht muß man eigentlich sein, um Newbies mit Hilfe von hacks abzuschießen.
Der Cheat geht jedenfalls eindeutig nur vom host aus.
