Problem with IL2 of steam version

A few seconds after joining a server, hyperlobby disconnects me from the server and throws me back to the general room. But the game loads without problem. I can join the server and play. But when hyperlobby automatically disconnects me due to idleness, I am thrown back to the desktop from the game. Because I am using MSFFB2, when I ALT-TAB back to the game, I lose the feedback force completely.

Can anyone help me?

It seems that the game server is dropping you.
Set IL2 options to 56k and tell me what happens.

I heard it helps with IL2 dropping.

i use same stick as you.it is something that happens ALL the time if you ALT tab in and out of game.just respawn and FF will be back.
also happens when you use the (zero) INS key for comms while game is loading.
just something u have to get used to.

IL2 does not support Alt Tab

Consequentially the FFB is lost as the screen is alt/tab or minimized.

To reduce key errors (hitting the windows key) and accidentally loosing FFB you can disable it.

Perhaps I didn't describe it very clearly.

I didn't alt+tab out to the desk top. It was the automatic disconnection of hyperlobby. It was because the connection of IL2 and hyperlobby was lost (so hyperlobby logged me back in, but the game was still running. I was still flying happlily in the game. But I heard the classic canopy openning sound of hyperlobby).

And if you don't chat in hyperlobby for 20 minutes, your status will be set to idle by hyperlobby. And 10 minutes later, you will be forced logged out.

At this very time, I was brought back to the desktop from the game, which was still running in the task bar. Then I had to alt+tab back to the game to continue shooting down the bastard I was chasing. But I lost the feedback force of my MSFF2 from that point.

You need to get a copy of the actually IL2FB.exe executable file, from a regular copy (non-digital download). When using the steam executable, it doesn't operate properly with hyperlobby.

I agree, Remove your game from the Steam folder, replace the iL2fb.exe and disable Steam, this will fix the issue at hand. As a game supporter in HL, we have this topic of discussion most everyday.
