I've read your Sticky report, HYper , thanks for that.
Here my information:

I cannot host a game in HL. Im playing FB AEP. I can go in an open slot, changing the game settings and than save it. Normally there must be the label "info" on the button above right. With me, there is no label "info" to see, also others don't see that. They can read my info by clicking it , but they don't see that label on the button. Others whos going in an open slot have that label info on the button. I can launch the game, but others can't come in. Theyre getting a time out message although there connection with me is very good ( under 100)

i have a intel pentium 4A, 2400Mhz processor
Computer manufaturer is Medion
Motherboard is SIS648
Ram is 512 DDR SDRAM
HDD Seagate St360020A (60GB 5300RPM, Ultra ATA/100)
VGA: ATI Radeon 7500 (64MB)
OS: Windows Home edition XP ( firewall is off)
Games: cfs2 and fb AEP
HL version: 3.6.68

Cable, broadband
Anti-virus is F-Secure, F-Secure Backweb ( also when i disabled or deinstalled this firewall, i could not host). i had no host problems in cfs2.

verinfo.txt file:

Win NT: 5.1.A28 - Service Pack 1
hlpro.exe 3.6.0.68
aping.exe 1.0.0.16
dexec.exe 1.0.0.5
mswinsck.ocx 6.0.88.4
msvbvm50.dll 5.2.82.44

Try run command prompt (Start>Run, type cmd and hit enter), then type command "ipconfig" and send me the result . It should look like this:
Code:

Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600]
(C) Copyright 1985-2001 Microsoft Corp.

C:\Documents and Settings\Jiri>ipconfig

Windows IP Configuration

Ethernet adapter Internet:

        Connection-specific DNS Suffix  . :
        IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.20.39
        Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.240
        Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.20.33

C:\Documents and Settings\Jiri>

Thanks a lot for reacting,

Here the info:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix: DO NOT READ THIS IS SPAM :D.be
IP Adress........................: 213.119.214.197
Subnet Mask...................: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway.............: 213.119.214.1

I hope you can solve my problem.
Btw: I can host games on Ubi.com, therefore i think the difficulty is not in mine computer.

Big thanks, Wink

... your network setup seems ok. But i wondering why every your post in to the forum you have another IP address ...

Also there was a bug in il2fb that i dont know if was resolved. Open your conf.ini file (il2fb folder), search for section [net] and post me the contens. It should look like this:

Code:

[NET]
speed=3000
routeChannels=0
serverChannels=15
localPort=21000
remotePort=21000
SkinDownload=0
serverName=No Name
serverDescription=
remoteHost=
localHost=
socksHost=
checkServerTimeSpeed=1
checkClientTimeSpeed=0

Also have you tried reinstall il2 ?

Hi there,

my information:

[NET]
speed=5000
routeChannels=0
serverChannels=7
localPort=21000
remotePort=21000
SkinDownload=1
serverName=
serverDescription=
remoteHost=
localHost=
socksHost=
checkServerTimeSpeed=1
checkClientTimeSpeed=0

I changed my netspeed to 5000 yesterday, a tip from another player to reduce lag.

I have reinstalled FB a few times, but this did not solved my problem.

About my Ipadress: It's changing every few hours. It's a kind of protection against hackers and so from my net provider. Now my adress is ending with .67

Thanks a lot for reacting, Wink , nice,

Buba
