I installed the beta 4 on a xp64 machine with no problems.

I installed the beta 4 on top of the beta 3 on a W7 machine(with UAC on).I got an error at the end of the install.("unknown error, quitting")However this time when clicking on the desktop icon HyperLobby loads just fine. With the beta 3 and UAC on I got the "unknown error, quitting" and when trying to run HyperLobby from the desktop icon or the exe I got a runtime 53 error."File not found".

So the beta 4 seems to work with the UAC on but gives an error at the end of the install.(looks like it is erasing all the backup files)

Setup is running in two phases:
1./ Uninstall, trying uninstall also no more needed mswinsock.oxc from system folder instaled by beta 3 then error should popup
2./ Install

So future upgrade from beta 4 to beta 5 propably will work correctly.

Best test will be uninstall previus beta manually and the run new setup of beta 4 to test how it work over clean system ...

Hiperlobby 3.9.120 (beta4)
works great on
Windows 7 ultimate 64

but I have 1 suggestion if I may post it here
If it is possible to add 3-4 buttons with enable/disable so we can choose what mod we can have on mod I mean game path if we have several game installation of same game
this is good for IL-2 1946 and Lock On because, we have now several mods on IL-2 1946 ...and 3 x Lock On (1.02, FC, FC2)
now we have situation when we must search/enter new game path if we have need for that and that sometimes takes time Sad, but it can be solved with that 3-4 buttons

thank you for your time doing this

and 3 x Lock On (1.02, FC, FC2) This won't work unless you have all 3 versions each in their own directory (this is due to the way the game is made) sorry.

Is the new Beta going to have a fix for the problem regarding the skin not showing up once you've update to SP1 in Windows Vista as well as in Windows 7? I will give it a show but just putting that out there incase it wasn't brung up already.

I was wondering if any consideration has been given to including Balck Shark into the new HL release?

Jiri said that if you send the original boxed game he will look at the possibility of adding the game when he has time. Not all games can be added.

yep that is what all will have to do if they want to use this possibility, it is needed to have each simulation in his own (separate) folder or partition, most of my friends already have this done (several mods in IL-2 in several directories), this is done because of possibility that we all could mess up installation with some new feature (mod)

Thank you
