Running Vista Home Premium 32-bit & HL Beta 7.

Jiri, Thank you for fixing the links in both pager and main chat.

yesterday however i received a link to squadron's website via pager and the link opened ok when i double clicked on it, but it also included the rest of the message as part of the url.

so the pager said something to the effect of

www.eaglesofwar.net

S~ I hope you enjoy it

but when double clicking on the link, it opened the url as

www.eaglesofwar.net/S~Ihopeyouenjoyit.

All OS versions post an error when HyperLobby closes after being idle for too long.

Error Socket:10057 Socket Is Not Connected

This does not affect HyperLobby as I click on connect and everything is fine.

See attached Photo.(hopefully)

This is normal, the message is displayed when the Hyperlobby times out (no activity from user), and also displayed when user is connected to a server via Hyperlobby.

Connection is re-established when:

The HL reconnects after the user leaves a IL21946 server automatically.
or
You manually reconnect to HL when you are active again.

The links I posted did not work by clicking on them in the pager window. They worked fine when I copied and pasted them to my browser(Firefox).

They also worked when sent through the chat box.

Other urls sent by pager worked.

Yes I tested from HL pager window, opened links from there making browser the default to open the links directly by clicking on them.

All ok here.

I did a little more testing on the urls that would not open in my pager window.

I sent the link via the pager(from my W2k machine) to my W7 Ultimate machine and my XP64 machine.

In both cases the links in the pager worked. But not in W2k machine.(My main one)I am using Firefox as the default browser.

So either it is a W2k thing or a problem on my end.

Again, the same links worked in W7 and XP64 but not W2k.

I can live with this.

Keep up the good work.I await RC1.

Ps. As far as the socket error goes I recall the "disconnected from HyperLobby" message on time out but not the socket error message. It could have been there with the old 3.9.11 version.I just never noticed. Not a big deal.As you say you can just click on "connect" again and you are in.

Hi, thanks for your work. It's outstanding

I have a problem, can't save the game-path.
Windows 7 premium 64, 3.9.123 (beta 7) using IL2 UP2.0n

Befor I installed the UP2.0n all was well I tested it. But was not able to join for I had the wrong version of the game. Now that I updated my game no joy. I save the path (letting hyperlobby search) then try to join but I return to the main page. When I try to look for the game path there is non. Tried to enter the game path with copying from explorer then I get the runtime error 52. ???

Installed the game with admin rights also the Mod.

a forgot, when I launch hyperlobby there is allways a pop-up window asking for permissions/rights (windows)

Some suggestions for you.

Try a clean version of IL2 1946 v409m

Un-install the old Hyperlobby from add remove programs, the betas will install without having to remove/un-install previous versions unless stated.

When saving the game file path make sure you have selected IL21946 in the Hyperlobby Game select screen.
