Hello! From memory I think that you have to "Allow" access for these programs in the "Program Control" section of zone alarm.
By default Zone Alarm blocks any program trying to access the net without you allowing it first.
If it has been blocked then you will see it in the program control section with a red cross next to it I think... (been a while)
Left or right click on that exe and you will see a menu with 3 options of "block", "Allow" and I forget the 3rd option.. Any way you want the green tick for allow.

You might have the security settings too high too. I only had the free version.
Hope that gets you flying....

Thats unusual. Za was pretty simple and straight forward.
You allowed access and it did.

You better post up your system info, connection type etc as in the sticky post at the top of the tech support forum here.

State your problem clearly. Eg: I cant host or join games and what message you get.

If its blocking ports then you need to allow port 21000 for il2 and Hyperlobby uses port 1698.
But zap should not block them if you have allowed the exe`s access

Also read the *software firewall* part of this in the faq.

there is a problem I've discovered with IL2 that can prevent me connecting.

My game comp is on a network which uses internet connection sharing to get to IL2 sever on the net - through hyerlobby.

IL2 seems to get confused on my system if I have my second lan card plugged in.

my network is like this:

windows2000 server ----> gaming/development computuer ----> wireless LAN - a fairly stupid network configuration but one that upsets IL2 fb.
