There seems to be some misunderstanding of the use of prepared messages and font/color use in the lobby. I hope to clarify this for everyone.

It is NOT a violation of the ToS to use a large colored font. If it were, the option would not be available. It is also not a violation of the ToS to post recruiting messages, upcoming flight info into the chat for others to see.
It is NOT a violation to post URL links to offsite locations as long as the content does not violate the ToS.

It is NOT considerate to post the same large bold message or youtube link over and over however. Few prefer to see the same message 5 times in under a minute, so we are asking for a little understanding here.

Lately, there have been many complaints about the 'Spam' and endless babble by certain members. It is our intent as Admins to see to it that the lobby is a peaceful place to chat and find servers. In the pursuit of this goal we have been asking members to tone down their repetitive messages. Most don't have a problem with this. For those who DO, and cannot control their keyboards, be advised that arguing with the police officer is never a good idea.
Common sense and consideration of others should not have to be regulated and it is our hope that this issue will not continue to grow.

If you have any questions or comments regarding this, feel free to post them here or contact a HL Staff member.
