There have been some inquiries at SimHQ about whether or not European Air War is still supported by Hyperlobby. A group of players was hoping to use HL for some reunion games.

Greetings, this may not be the proper place to post this but Hyperlobby is where most of us fly IL2 1946. I have a question I need to post a question in the forum at the HL website. It's been quite a while since I logged in there, but I did have an account. When I try to log it it says invalid user name or password. So when I try the lost password links it's says my email isn't invalid. So when I try to create a new account I get a generated email saying my email address is already used and the account would have to be reviewed before a new password link is sent. Going to the Hyperlobby site I cannot find any contact links to send them an email. So.........do any of you know any of the members or know how to contact Jiri?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks, I'm referring to the HyperLobby website and forum. I connect to my client install just fine. Using my client login didn't work at the website. Where are folks flying IL2 1946 other than HL? A few of my old 78th squad mates from the EAW/Zone days are thinking of planning a "reunion" flying EAW one night. European Air War isn't listed in my HL client games list anymore even those it is on the list at the web site. Trying to find out if we could host some games there.

EAW and all othrer "Direct play" powered games are not suppoted by HL anymore. HL needed a lot of hacky hooks to support such games already do not played by anyone. Direct play interface is already abandomed by Microsoft itself. So only i can do is say R.I.P. EAW Sad

Direct IP games should work without problems.
