HL servers been up and running for the last 4 and a half days by the server info on log-in.
Could be your connection/isp or possession... |

gunny... same thing happening on this computer as on my last one.
this is what happens says " cannot connect... please try again in a few minutes"
if its not that its a "socket error.." message
then it power off.. on .....off on.......mouse scrolls everywhere..
unplug comp from wall.. ..reconnect..try again..... same results.
2 different computers... 2 different OS... 3 anti-virus programs, several ad-aware type programs....
only thin common on both computers is HL....
and both happened when trying to activate HL.... (which is odd, ..this comp has XP on it and played fine untila a week or two ago... tryin like a mad man to post before it locks up sorry for spelling er whatever. ...... i dont get it. nobody else has this problem??? this happens everytime....but now its not going away. on either one. |

Its odd alright.
Run this... http://www.bitdefender.com/bd/site/products.php?p_id=24 It is slow but very good.
Sounds like a virus to me.
If your other computer is on the same network and share files then Im guessing you got yourself a virus. |

Hi,
My first time int this forum. I'm getting this same error messgae now too after having played online successfully for a few weeks, I'm now unable to get in.
I could not find a fix to the "hyperlobby is temporarily unavailble" message and I know HL isn't down.
Can anyone help? |
