Iron Skies is an online war that recreates different theaters of WW2 by combining traditional wargame rules with the flight sim IL2 Forgotten Battles. This creates a ground war driven, immersive combat situation where airpower fills its historical role of assisting the war, not driving the war. The outcomes of our wars are not predetermined. However, the historical situation is recreated as much as is possible within the limitations of the game.
