Hi,

after the installation of 3.8.0.90 I couldn't join any server; always got timeouts. I found the solution in the FAQ:

Quote:
Solution for users with multiple network adapters:
Hl always automaticaly detect right IP address of network adapter that are connected in to internet, and force the game to use this adapter. This option should be turned off by hlpro.ini file. Edit the hlpro.ini file and in section [IL-2 Sturmovik (full version)] change value DetectLocalIP=1 to DetectLocalIP=0.
Then open il2setup application and select right network adapter by network tab.

But I never had to do this in previous versions of Hyperlobby. Why doesn't the automatic detection of the IP adress work anymore in the latest release?

My verinfo.txt:

Win NT: 5.1.A28 - Service Pack 2

I said I found the solution - but it worked only one time. Now I'm getting timeouts even with IP address manually selected. Can't join any server. I tried all IP adresses I could find in FB setup, I even disabled my firewall - nothing helped.

What's going on?

Funny, I uninstalled the latest version and installed 3.8.80 instead -- now I can connect again ...

Sorry, changing IP address in il2setup.exe didn't help but once, I don't know why.

I also have PF stand-alone installed (as well as FB), might this be a part of the problem?

OK, thanks for my "personal Hyperlobby". Wink

With V.3.8.0.91 I was able to connect to Forgotten Battles Servers twice without any problems and with DetectLocalIP = 1.

But for the last ~20 minutes Hyperlobby seems to been down. When I try to connect now I'm getting the message "HyperLobby server is temporary unavailable... Please wait few minutes and try reconnect again ...".
