When I start up HL it looks for WW2 fighters, whitch I dont have.
When I shut down the search window, the 'runtime error 0' appears and shuts down HL!
I´ve uninstalled the HL and reinstalled it and looked for traces of old installs and got rid of all I´ve found before reinstalling. No success..the new install looks for that very game and shuts down...
Is there any logfile some where trigging this search function? |

HL Manual Chapter 7 wrote: |
When you try to connect to a game room, HL may pop up the game-location dialog. This happens when HL is not properly set up or cant automatically detect the game location. This dialog can be forced by pressing CTRL+SHIFT and left-clicking on the CONNECT button. There are two ways to enter the correct game-installation folder:
1. Type the game path into the text box with the name of the game executable, for example "C:\my game\gameapp.exe", then press the Save button.
2. Left-click the Search button and wait until HL finds your game folder. Then double-click on the correct item and select save.
If you think that both of these methods have failed, right-click your game icon, select properties, and copy and paste the game path into the textbox and left-click the Save button. (If nothing works, try reading this manual from the beginning.)

Here is crouchyeagle.: still no solution to the contstant 'Run Time Error 0'. I have HL deleted my 'crouchyeagle'-account and hope that HL will
ask for new callsign. Result: nothing changed, still getting 'Run Time Error 0'. |

I finally made it work doing the following: click cancel and quickly select the game you want to play. You really have to do it quick otherwise HL will exit with RUN TIME ERRORS . Good luck |

Beside the callsign is a little checkbox. Try hit disconnect and uncheck that autoconnect checkbox ... |

Game dir location is stored in the:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths
Its standart place to store an application path ... |
