Visual Basic 6.0 Runtime and wine

Hello,
I understand that visual basic 6.0 requires a license which is somehow installed tothe runtime from the programs aping.exe and dexec.exe. I am struggling with a wine installation of hyperlobby and I've been able to make the program launch but not any further than runtime error 429: You do not have an appropriate license to use this content.

I think the trouble is that I cant use the latest VB6.0 runtime because it calls wine to ntdll.dll and those people over at the cedega project have not implemented some of the abilities of ntdll.dll. Not that I havn't tried, but the latest version of MSVBVM60.DLL it will run is the version which comes with vbrun60sp5.

At any rate, I was wondering if there were a cure for this? if somehow the program could run on this older software?

Also I'm wondering if cedega might cure this as of right now I'm using the cvs versions of wine.
