| i get the pop-up, hit the search button.. watch it scan, watch it go right passed the il-2 folder (without recognizing it) and end with hyperlobby cannot find the installation path.
ive tried manually typing in the path as well.
i bought the digital download, and installed the game just fine. i can play single player with no problem, and have installed the most recent update as well.. 4.08 i think it was.
 but nothing seems to work..

 any suggestions?

| Hello
By default HL logs you into the WW2 Fighters room after install and looks for that game executable.
 Maybe this is your problem?

in the game list select forgotten battles and then hit connect then it will search and give you the game install folder to select

| Be sure you select the proper program in the Hyperlobby list. If you selected IL2 Stormovik but have IL2 1946 (which uses the il2fb.exe, aka as the IL2 Forgotten Battles executable) then Hyperlobby won't find it.

Hello i am new to the hyper lobby after just being able to scratch enough money together to purchase my first graphics card to enable me to play IL2 sturmovick 1946, and yes you've guest it i cant get the hyper lobby to find my IL2 1946 folder to allow me to play online on dedicated servers. Any suggestions as to a remedy. Sorry to start begging for help so early on but i'm desperate to play on line.

Also you can manually load it.

The path should look like this.

 Z:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\il2fb.exe

Note the "Z" drive. It's just as an example.
Most of you should be installed to a "C" drive.

| Click just below the top of the Hyperlobby window on the right side. It probably says 'IL2 Stormovik' or 'Player List' now--just under that. When you click in the right place you see a pop-up with a list of options that looks something like this

 • connect/select games
 • player list
 • Anti cheat test results
 • Pager
 • Skin manager
 • Credits

Click on the first option and select IL2 Forgotten Battles. Ta-rah, you're in business.

| Tried both methods and my system just skips merrily on by without stopping and says no files found?

| Oh, wait. I think you may have downloaded the dedicated server version and it's looking for the IL2 server exe, which of course you don't have.

Download again, but make sure you have the stand alone version.
