Hyperlobby times out when I try to connect. So does Firefox or IE7 when I try to get to this website. I am currently using a proxy server to get here.
My IP service (Comcast) claims they are not blocking you.
I can see you through DNS servers, and get a ping of 164 ms for hyperfighter.sk. Any attempt to connect times out.

overclocking screws up some eithernet cards.
The latest "gigabyte" cards don't tolerate overclocking.
A gigabyte card is a 10-100-1000 transfer rate.
I suggest you try at a stock clock.

Good suggestion, but I am not connecting through ethernet.
I am using a wireless network. Also all machines in the house are unable to connect to hyperfighter.sk. So it is not the overclock.
I have also bypassed the wireless router using a non-overclocked machine and still cannot connect.
I appear to be blocked by either Comcast or hyperfighter.sk. |

What exactly is your message?
"connection closed" means your banned.
If you can get into here you are not blocked.
I suggest a router port not opened?

Hi folks
Offline pro wanting to see how quickly I can crash and burn online,
getting HL error message:
Error Socket: 10060 The attempt to connect timed out.
I noticed somebody with the same problem in the posts, no replies to him yet, any ideas on what's wrong?
It says below the error message:
Connecting the HyperLobby server failed. Please check your firewall configuration. HyperLobby program (hlpro.exe) must have enabled access to the Internet !
Checked that HL is enabled through firewall, so...?
Somebody please show this noob the light!!

Problem sorted out here as well, I had to call verizon, speak to india for 1 hr they discontinued the modem im using westell versa link 327w, plus they were doing work in the area the last couple months, I had to update the firmware. Everythings working fine now after updating. Problem was only verizon can update the firmware which says failed but updates it |
