I just installed windows 7 beta and I have a small problem:
install with admin rights, XP SP2 compatibility mode, everything goes fine.
I run the software the same way, and it's ok, until it asks for game folder.
I click on "Search" and it finds everything it has to find.
I, then, click on teh right exe, click on "save" and receive a message "can't find game folder", as if I clicked the exe without selecting a found path.
I tried by pasting the path directly, but the problem remains.
Is there a "manual" way to enter it somewhere, please?

Same problem here aswell.
Tried the vista trick of putting the IL2 folder into the root directory.
Problem: HL will find il2fb.exe, I can select it, but still I get an error saying "Hyperlobby can't find game installation. You will not beable to access mission slots or run the game"

Thx for the reply
I did all that, I run HL as admin, XP SP2 compatibility mode, and it works fine, except that it dosn't register the game install location.
I can use search( that finds it) or enter it manually, same result, as if some part was "read only" so that game location can't be written...
Thing is, I tried to locate it in different files, but couldn't, is it in the registry? (maybe seven forbids registry edition unless it's an install or something?) |

It works!!!
run as administrator after you selected windows 98 compatibility mode (I did the same for aping, just in case) and it seems to work OK now |
