I and my friend hav LAN internet for 2 home computers, and I share the connection.When he tried to login this message appear: "Error Socket: 11004 Valid name, no data record of requested type".We use the last HL 3.6.68 beta. My firewall is Off... We don't know what can be.Can you help us.

I have exactly the same message as BulAir and i can't loggin hyperlobby today (13 july ) what does it mean ?.
My connexion is ok and many friends can loggin.

11004 Valid name, no data record of requested type: This is A connection issue. It could be caused by many things. Anything from your firewall to your internet service provider. Basically its saying your internet connection is stuffed. Sometimes ISP`s block ip ranges because that's where attacks originate in their logs. A quick call to your isp with details of your problem should shed some light on the matter.
