Jiri,
I downloaded the new client today to give the new multiple server thing a try. I was unable to get it to work. There was a place to enter a port number however...when you launch the server...HL goes to sleep just like it used to which makes launching another session impossible.

I tried to install another instance of HL in a different directory and it wouldn't let me do that either. I saw your message about needing to test this feature so I figured I would give it a shot...

If you already have a fix for this or I did something wrong...please post the fix...would love to get two dedicated servers up on the one machine...

Thanks for your time and dedication!

It is not designed to run multiple sessions at one computer, but when you want try it open the hlpro.ini, and add this line in to the [Configuration ] section:
MultipleInst=1

This will alow to run multiple instances of HL ...

This feature is primary designed to run multiple servers behind one public IP, for example two computers behind NAT router.
