anyway to play PF standalone install on hyperlobby?

Is there anyway to play PF standalone install on hyperlobby? i dont have the previous versions of il-2, just bought PF lastnight.

You can play stand-alone PF at Ubi.com - join via Multiplayer in your game.

You can play PF stand alone on Hyperlobby from what I understand.

I created a server last night but noone had a standalone version of the game to join.

I will be putting it up for the next few nights 7est.

Server located in Florida USA.

You will need to make a copy of your PF exe file.

Rename the copied exe to il2fb, do not add the exe extension. You can leave both files in your folder and you will still be able to play on UBI if you like.

When you start hyperlobby choose the Forgotten Battle room. You will be able to get in.

The server name will be "BackWoods" or I will change my call sign from that machine to represent the PF standalone install.

I am assuming all of this will work. I have heard it will. Look for the server and join up!

Unfortunately, while fitting a new motherboard to my computer so I could install more memory (to play PF!) I think I have done something irrevocable to my system and the poor old girl is going to have to go in for repair.

I'm back on the laptop which just can't handle PF - I will certainly look for you once I'm back up and running though! Smile
