I just installed HL fine but can't get it to recognize my IL2FB installation. I've copied and pasted the "C:\.........exe into the blank I think I'm supposed to paste it into, but the HL client doesn't find the game. I get connected, but I'm the only one there and I assume that's because my client doesn't know where I want to be.

Make sure you have chosen the correct game room to be in.Check the manual.(on the left side of main page).Section 5 I believe.

I didn't have the correct game selected, then when I got that right, it still couldn't find my FB installation (merged). Then I managed to get the line HL client wanted in the right blank, don't ask me how, but I've messed up the path to the game and it won't start now! When I tried to join a server with one other participant, HL tried to launch the game and I got the error, "Please insert correct CD" I logged off and discovered that I can no longer launch the game at all! It thinks all my CD's are the wrong CD's!
What have I done? he said.

Make a new destop icon.Go to the exe in your game folder.Right click and then click make shortcut.
