I tried previous versions of hl and everything was ok. Now, since I installed FB+AEP+PF and new client version strange problem occurs.
I enter hl and select the room, the client connects and starts game without problem, but when I disconnect, the hl client seems to be still connected. I mean game exits (like must be) but the hl window shows START in the chat area but no more romms or players are showed (like if it was still connected).
Then I can´t exit hl anymore, I must press ctrl+alt+supr and exit hl and aping.exe. And after that, I press FB+AEP+PF (without using hl) and game won´t start again if I don't reboot.
So after joining a room I must reboot if want to join another room.
Ive been looking around forum and no find issue like this.

Check your tasklist if is there a process called il2fb.exe. It seems than in some situation the game do not end himshelf and hl continue to wait. This issue was reported by more ppl ...

When you say tasklist, you mean the window that appears when press ctrl+alt+supr (sorry, I'm spanish)?
When I press ctrl+alt+supr it appears just two things, hyperlobby client and aping. Thanks for quick reply

you were true, there's a process called il2fb.exe that won´t stop. If I end it, hl comes back. I'll try to check for solution. Thanks again

Current 3.8.90 version will kill any game related process, when you try close it ...
