I can't host anymore

Hellooo,

Long time ago, i could not host, i posted some message here. After a time i could host, dunno what was changing, version???
Now im again in that situation i can't host, here is my info:

Problem: i can't host game, othe always recieve time out
CM: Medion
CPU Intel celeron 2.4Ghz
Ram: 512Mb
HDD: Western Digital 60GB
VGA: ati 9600pro, 265Mb
OS: Win XP home, Dutch
Games: only FB+AEP+PF
HL version: 3.8.92 beta
I E: Latest one, 6....
No blocking firewall.
Antivirus: F-Secure

Hi there,

Would someone plse reply on my message????
I had no hosting probs untill this new version of HL came out. Now, i can host anything, they always got time out, although they have a very near ping.

See if anybody can join your game via direct IP. That will tell if the HL is the problem.

Hello Gunny,

I tried yesterday a direct ip adress game with another player. It was not working,he got message: time out.
So this exclude HL, it's more my problem. You have few advices i can do to fix this??? Im quit sure it's not my firewall, cus i had this also during the time, period i could host games.

Hello, at the weekend flew on our server also of 64 people !
The next time go we by DirectIP into this server.
Seemingly there are problems with that, that the new HL version in the HLpro editor that put ClientRate on 8000.
I asked about this problem already once, but one does not presumably get answers here?

I know several hosts the at the moment problems have . ...

Das nächste Mal gehen wir per DirectIP in diesen Server.
Anscheinend gibt es Probleme damit, dass die neue HL Version im HLpro-editor, die ClientRate auf 8000 gesetzt hat.
Wegen dieses Problems habe ich schon mal angefragt, aber Antworten kriegt man wohl hier nicht?

Ich kenne mehrere Hosts die im Moment Probleme haben ....

Hi there Gunny,

I contacted my net provider, but all was good, they tested my conn. I can host games on ubi and in cfs2, so maybe not my conn and more the HL ????
