If you mean a dedicated server then you must download the dedicated server software.(the base server is 2.04 and large. You then need all the updates through 4.02m)Make a racing map. Then rename your server.exe to il2fb.exe.Then create a new user on HL using the name of your server.Point HL to the new il2fb.exe.Then start it like a normal game.

In case you did not know you can not play on the same machine as the server. The server needs its own machine.Hence the name dedicated. Also the dedicated server runs in a dos box.No need for expensive video, audio or stick.

You must rename the server exe to il2fb.exe.Then create a new HyperLobby account using the name of your server.Hold down shift+control at the same time you click on connect.A new window will open and you can either search or enter manually the new path to the server exe.

Once in the main screen click on the top slot in any of the dog mission groups. Then click on save.then click the blue button again and click on start.HyperLobby will start your server.

By the way you do not need the dedicated server software to host a race.Just enter HL with you client game, click on the top slot of any dog mission.Mark your settings and click on save. Then click the blue button and then click start.Your game will start and appear in the left column.People can join from there.Or they could have joined by putting their name in slots under yours before you click start.
